Over the last few weeks I've been trying many RSS (and Atom) aggregators, both web based, and applications. (I found most based on mentions over at Scobelizer). Web based ones included bloglines and Kinja. Bloglines is more configurable and if I only used a web based aggregator, I'd probably use it.
However, I prefer the windows apps, especially SauceReader (which can also be used to post new entries to a blog). Also handy was SharpReader. The main thing I liked about these two was that they handled RSS 0.9x, 1.0, 2.0 and Atom 0.2, 0.3 feeds better than any of the others. Comments, recommendations?
