Here's an admittedly amateurish poem I wrote a few years ago. I was reminded of it by Pratchett's Wee Free Men and a recent Buffy episode...

Don't touch, feel  
Don't taste, eat  
Don't skim, read
Don't glance, explore
Don't observe, participate
Don't try, do
Don't hope, wish and dream, live.

If you don't, odds are, nobody will.
